The print run is the number of copies of one specific card that were produced. On a serial-numbered card it is printed on the card. On everything else — base cards, unnumbered parallels, most inserts — it is not published as a number at all, and has to be inferred from pack odds and production figures.

Why unnumbered runs are so hard to pin down

• Manufacturers publish odds ("one in every N packs"), not counts. Converting odds to a count requires knowing how many packs were made, which is usually not disclosed.
• The same card can be printed for more than one channel — see hobby vs retail — with different odds in each.
• Reprints and late production runs can extend a run after release.
